Mechanical Devices
There may be a lot of devices which are used for treating sexual dysfunction in men, however I will discuss some of the most popular devices, which have been known to be quite effective in countering the disorder up to a certain extent. Lets take them up one by one:
Vacuum pump
This is basically a cylinder shaped device which has to be placed over the penis. It is also commonly referred to as a penis pump. The air inside the pump is then sucked out gradually. This process induces an erection by the suction force. In some cases though, the penis becomes blue due to the suction and even turns cold.
Rings
Sometimes used along with the vacuum pumps, these rings are manufactured so as to fit comfortably around the penis's base. Outward blood flow from the penis is restricted by the means of these rings, which in turn helps sustain the erection. It is not mandatory to use them along with the penis pump and can be put into use alone as well.
Splints (External)
These devices are not much in use even though they are quite effective. They literally make the penis stand erect for completing a sexual act.
Vibrators
Vibrators are generally used for self-pleasure by either males or females. They are devices which help in increasing the sex drive of the individual. They are known to be quite effective for countering sexual dysfunction, however, they are not prescribed by physician.
